The Squids 3119F(x) Tool Lanyard with Locking Swivel-Action Aluminum Carabiners features a patented design that prevents falling objects while absorbing any dynamic energy that might be transmitted through the lanyard's length to reduce any torque that your body, or anchor point, might experience if a drop occurs. By reducing this shock load, this tested and approved design prevents the tool from pulling the user down with it, effectively protecting everyone involved, both those above and those below. Durable, low-profile 1680 denier polyester, elastic-blend webbing with high-strength, three-ply nylon stitching on both ends ensures secure, reliable, lighter-weight performance, and the lanyard's single-length format eliminates the potential for the weak points commonly seen on multi-component lanyard alternatives. Both ends feature anodized, aluminum-alloy swivel carabiners with an easy-grip, ergonomic format and double-action locking gates, making it easy to attach to tools or anchor points, even when wearing heavy work gloves. The carabiners' inherent captive-eye attachment points also help the user better predict the direction of loads to minimize the potential for the lanyard hooking into the carabiners' gates as well as minimize the potential for other related, dangerous lanyard issues, while their swivel-action format adds greater versatility for a wide range of scenarios. When working at heights, it’s essential to tether your tools, and these tool lanyards are built to withstand defined weight limits and can easily be used by any worker to help avoid accidentally dropping objects that could cause extensive property damage and serious, potentially deadly injuries.
